Installation of Panasonic TX-P42GT50B Plasma with Yamaha YAS201 Soundbar

In this recent installation our client was upgrading her existing television and surround sound system.

The fireplace was the chosen location to house the new Panasonic 42″ plasma screen along with the Yamaha soundbar. As a retro-fit install the Soundbar was specified as running speaker cables for a wired surround system was not an option.

With the help of our carpenter the fireplace was modified to allow for the plasma to be hung and also an opening made specifically to house the soundbar to give a flush finish.

Cables routes were made from the fireplace to the cupboard which is where all of the AV kit is located.

A Sky+ HD box, Panasonic Blu-Ray player, and Apple TV are all connected to the TV using HD Anywhere’s slimwire HDMI Cables.

All the components are hard-wired to the clients home network and controlled via an iPad mini.
