AVM are off to ISE Amsterdam

At the end of January, Liam & Lee will be off to Amsterdam to visit Integrated Systems Europe: the world’s best-attended trade show for the professional AV and electronic systems industry.

ISE 2012 attracted over 40,000 attendees to it’s Amsterdam location, where 825 exhibitors occupied more than 30,000 square meters of total net floor space.

ISE 2013 will be even larger, with an extra hall having already been added to cater for ever increasing demand.

The following technology sectors have their own dedicated areas on the show floor:

Residential solutions

Digital Signage

Unified Communications

Smart Building.

Not only is this a great opportunity for ourselves to look at the very latest technology, but this event also gives us the chance to meet with our trade suppliers and peers.

AVM now accredited installers for HD Anywhere!

Back in the summer Liam and Lee visited HD Connectivity’s HQ in Malvern for their two day ‘Rethink HD Distribution’ training course.

Over 150 installers attended this first outing, which set out to demystify HDBaseT and HDMI over IP distribution technologies and explain the merits of choosing one over the other.

The first day featured presentations from HD Connectivity’s MD Chris Pinder and Control4‘s Jason Girardier. The focus was on installs featuring eight or less screens – residential projects and smaller commercial jobs. Topics included an introduction to HDMI and troubleshooting. There was also an opportunity for attendees to get some hands on experience with HDanywhere’s Multiroom+ HDBaseT system.

HD Anywhere’s Multiroom system uses Cat5e cabling to distribute HD signals around a property. This is a great product for new builds where the cabling can be installed from the first-fix stage.

If you are in the process of planning a new build, why not get in touch to see how we can help you take care of all AV needs.
